Elegantly poised in the heart of the quiet historic district of Rocky Mount within minutes to major attractions. We are located in the rolling foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.  The B&B is just 15 miles south of the Blue Ridge Parkway MP 121. (click here for map) The Blue Ridge Parkway is unabashedly America’s drive-through National Park. The BRP is a 469.1 mile long with zero stops. "America's Favorite Drive."

History envelops the captivating towns of Southwest Virginia like the haze that brands the Blue Ridge Mountains. From Rocky Mount you can pursue it all, from museums to mountains, hiking to scenic highways, antiquing to wine-tasting, and even toe-tapping fiddle-playing Bluegrass, all at a leisurely country pace.

Claiborne House Bed and Breakfast is the perfect jumping off point to many historic points of interest in SW and Central Virginia. We are the starting point for the Crooked Road: Virginia's Heritage Music Trail.

Our 1895 Queen Anne is beautifully restored.  All guest rooms have modern amenities like comfortable beds, TV's, private baths and Wi-Fi throughout. Private off-street paved parking, 130 foot wrap around porch with rocking chairs and white wicker to take in the scenery.
